Zomeki is the word for the stir before Awa Odori and the fever that fills the streets. Hiroyoshi Taira, winner of the Limelight 2024 Under-40 Grand Prix, has photographed the dance in Koenji and Tokushima since 2011, down to its role as an offering for the dead. With a CD, Zomeki Street Live, recorded and mastered by Makoto Kubota.
