Starting out as DJ Krush’s driver and record carrier, DJ YAS went on to form Lamp Eye, produce the landmark track “Shogen” and found the DJ crew Kemuri Production. His own account of Japanese hip hop from its dawn to its golden age. Book design by Shin Watanabe (SLOGAN).
